Hi renaud! Can you present yourself briefly?
Renaud Margry aka « Margryze », 26 years old, love fmx, drift, guitar, martial arts and video editing!

How did the passion for bikes come to you?
I already loved bikes when i was a kid, and when i saw the first Custy Demons Of dirt, it was so awesome to see all those beautifull videos of friends freeriding in the sand with rock n roll music! I said to myslef i wanted to do that when i grow up…

Where are you now?
Every year i do more and more shows more and more importants! And 2012 is going to be awesome! In 2011 i had the chance to ride with incredible pilots like Mike Mason who won many Xgames medals, during the Wheels Fest in Switzerland, and with the ifmxf champion Libor Podmol on a big event in Italy. Its so awesome to ride with incredible riders like that, and thats just the begining…

What are you goals for the future?
Keep evolving and having fun in the air, keep doing shows biger and biger and do some events in countrys i don’t know yet!continue to go forward on the lot of video projetcs we got going on with the switch riders, buy better material and keep evolving at video editing.

Whats tricks are your favorite?
I love the rock solid, tsunami and clifhangers, I really love the sensation during the backflip, I hope I’ll be able to do it a lot on dirt soon.

You had some troubles with the flip right ?
Yeah it’s a trick that is not so technical to do, and with some training it becomes even easy, but mentaly it’s so hard! It’s not natural to do a flip with a 200pounds dirtbike… So i had a lot of trouble to handle the pressure to do it on dirt, and after i succeeded to do 2 longflips at 70feet, i had some big crashes and i calmed myslef down before to hurt myself bad. I started to train again on the flip, after a lot of mental preparation with my martial arts teachers, and thats a lot better no, so we’ll see!

You had a suzuki and now you ride a yamaha, still a 250 2 stroke, can you tell us more about that ?
Thes 250′s two strokes are really reliable, and you dont have to work on them as much as the 4 strokes and the handling is a lot better in the air so…The suzuki 250rm is a really good bike for freestyle, good engine and very handly but the yamaha 250yz is even better, so much power and very linear and stable, so it’s perfect for freestyle! I really love it!
